Little Tokyo lofts

Building Details:

  • Built in 1922
  • Renovated in 2003
  • 6 Floors
  • 161 Units

Little Tokyo lofts, originally a Westinghouse elevator manufacturing facility, is constructed of poured concrete and features over-scaled mushroom capitol columns, high ceilings, and large industrial steel windows in most lofts. Contrasting use of hardwood floors and warm finishes in the kitchens and bathrooms helped to establish a comfortable live/work environment. A central light court was carved through the center of the existing floors bringing light and air into the middle of the building.

All lofts are one bathroom floor-plans, the majority ranging from 610 to around 1300 feet. The exceptions are 6 ground-floor units ranging from from 1800 to 2020 feet and may feature direct private entrances from the building’s exterior.
